Funny story... was running in the "race for the cure" race a couple of wks. ago. It is the COOLEST race, 18,0000+ people run it. Most people run in memory of someone that died of breast cancer or in celebration of someone that beat it. (Me too, my best friend, beat it). Anyway, that race always makes me cry while I run it, watching people/kids run with pics of their mom's grandmothers, etc.
So, the race starts but because its so crowded, and because the walkers don't actually stay on the side of the walkers, its difficult to RUN for a while. Me and a bunch of others were trying to make our way past the walkers to get into a pace. I was following a guy who kept running around people, then he saw I was following him and got nervous and stopped.
THEN, a woman grabs my shoulder and says, "HEY, QUIT ZIG ZAGGING!" I could NOT believe it! I had a bunch of smart alec remarks to make, but instead just said, "Ok, show me." It was really rude, and I was mad that she was changing the good spirit of the event for me. No kidding.... I've NEVER seen karma work so fast. This woman took off, almost prancing. She went about 10 ft, and then had to "zig zag" past a walker, and some guy was doing the same and caught her front foot. She fell! I couldn't BELIEVE it! I would ordinarily help someone get up, so I slowed down to help, and then she started YELLING at the guy! He stopped to help her, and as I ran past she was still being miserable and yelling. I guess maybe I was mean, it made me laugh for the next 2 blocks. Wouldn't that be cool if whenever we were mean to someone, something happened like that and we tripped or something? Well, maybe it would just be funny to watch it happen to other people that were mean to us.
She wasn't hurt, so that was pretty funny. Something like this ever happen to you?

Hello and WELCOME

Hey,  It's Pamela.  Just wanted to say welcome to my website.  Life is such a HUGE adventure.  One of my favorite things about my life is like Willie says it,  "makin music with my friends."  That has to be like the best feeling to creating something that you feel,  letting it out,  and hearing what the people around you are creating along with it. THEN...... best of all is when you do all of that and someone else enjoys it!   I hope that you enjoy some of what we've created.

One of the best things about playing with Boots is how many great sax players I've met through the internet that loved and admired his music as much as I did.  If you are one of them,  or not,  say hello.  I'm amazing at how far music can reach.  There don't seem to be any limits.  I LOVE IT!!  and hope that somehow something we have done can make you smile,  or maybe just feel good for a min.  My favorite thing about meeting different sax players from around the world is how so many seem to be encouraging to each other and how fun it is to feel that.  THANK YOU to all of you who have said hello and offered words of encouragement.  I've really enjoyed getting to know you.  And to the fans out there...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANKYOU!   My life is better because you are all in it.  Isn't life better when we are reaching out a hand to lift someone up that when people are pushing each other down?   Thanks to everyone who has held out a hand and made me better and stronger!  Pamela
